Jesus, our brother, source of comfort and rest,

We all carry loads that sometimes grow so very heavy.

We know we can't magic them away and we don't ask you to, either.

But we do ask for your strength and partnership.

Remind us often that we have you as our holy rest,

even in the hardest of times.
